BIR Bataan conducted tax compliance seminar for Bataan Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairpersons on Friday.

Bataan SK Federated President Precious Manuel and Balanga SK Federated President Jim Espinosa led the SK chairpersons from Balanga City and Pilar in attending the seminar held at the BIR office in Balanga.

Dubbed “Seminar on Tax Compliance of Sangguniang Kabataan of Bataan”, Manuel said it is important that Bataan SK officials know the correct processes to comply with their tax obligation. Also discussed was “Election 2023 Guidelines in Registration, Updates and other Tax Compliance requirements”.

Resource persons of the seminar were Revenue Officers Sharmaine Manuzon, Anne Gelie Cruz, and Lady Diane Dizon. “We thank BIR Bataan Revenue District Officer Atty. Mercedes Estallila for the staging of this tax compliance seminar. It is very helpful to our SK chairpersons”, Manuel said. She also commended Espinosa for spearheading Balanga SK chairpersons in attending the seminar. BIR Bataan Admin and Human Resource Head Gemo Espinosa said it is the vision of Estalilla to reach out to as many taxpayers in the province by conducting tax seminars.
